I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and it was always a challenge finding reasonable shipping options. But as they say, necessity is the mother of invention, and when I moved to Denver, I thought I would offer a package forwarding service for my brethren in Hawaii and Alaska. Thus was born Aloha Forwarding (http://www.alohaforwarding.com).

Whenever you come across a merchant that either doesn't ship to the non-continental U.S. or doesn't offer Priority Mail service, just have it shipped to us and we'll forward it to you via Priority Mail. You can save about 40% off the cost of shipping it direct. We even have a shipping calculator that will estimate how much you'll save. Please check us out.

In the past few years, I've only bought stuff from Amazon, and I've always gotten over $25 worth of stuff (sometimes with the help of Future Mrs. the lone gunman or co-workers). So that qulifies me for Free Super Saver Shipping. Though you have to wait a little longer... 10 verses 5 days? So what!? Ain't no tax either... another plus to Amazon/on-line shopping. If I find something on sale for the same price on Amazon... I'll buy it from them.

I guess it's about time someone levelled the playing field on them...
